View of attic from new bedroom Attic Renovation

Built in the early 1900’s, the attic of this downtown Ann Arbor home was significantly underutilized. Functioning as storage and sometimes a sleeping space the client saw the potential hiding in this old attic. Through the use of removable cabinets we were able to create plenty of storage in and behind the cabinetry. Though a contemporary use of the space, with similar stains, trim profiles, and construction details this renovation feels right at home in this historic house plus creating a unique space from an old attic.
