Developed as part of a kitchen and mudroom addition, this screen porch became the focal point of an otherwise very ordinary home. As part of a developer's subdivision, this home lacked character to set it apart from its neighbors. Using materials and forms in context with the existing home, this element became more than just a place to enjoy the weather, it became the focal point providing the unique character the client desired.
